Appeal process changed to the disadvantage of those denied a disability pension
A disability pension can provide relief from hardship for someone with a long-term addiction disorder or a diagnosis of concurrent disorders. Details are provided in the news release from Robin Loxton of the BC Coalition for Persons with a Disability. Included in the release is the notice from Canada Pension Plans which details these changes.
